  1. The woodchat shrike (Lanius senator) is a member of the shrike family Laniidae. The woodchat breeds in southern Europe, the Middle East and northwest Africa, and winters in tropical Africa.
  2. The common rock thrush (Monticola saxatilis), formerly rufous-tailed rock thrush or rock thrush, is a chat belonging to the family Muscicapidae.
  3. The black redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) is a small passerine bird in the redstart genus Phoenicurus. 
  4. The ring ouzel (Turdus torquatus) is a European member of the thrush family, Turdidae. It is the mountain equivalent of the closely related common blackbird, and breeds in gullies, rocky areas or scree slopes.
